Pennant & Rowe is an independent community pharmacy group with 46 branches in Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Northern Ireland. Our pharmacies sit on high streets, in health centres and in a few villages where we are the only healthcare on the main road. Alongside dispensing we deliver NHS Pharmacy First, the New Medicine Service, flu and COVID vaccinations, blood pressure checks and contraception services. Eleven branches also run private travel clinics, and we operate our own hub for multi-compartment compliance packs in Bootle. The business was started in 1972 by two pharmacists in Wallasey and is still owned by their families. We are big enough to invest in training and robots, and small enough that the superintendent knows most branch teams by name.
